About Me

I am mainly a pianist and polistrumentist. I sing as well and I compose my own music.

My specialization is rock/folk/soundtrack music and I lead and perform in different projects and bands well known in the international progressive rock ambient.

I play piano, autoharp, chinese instruments like guzheng and chinese flutes, electric japanese koto etc.

I like to make "esoteric emotional improvisation" music when the ambient is suitable.

• Hessischerhof Hotel Frankfurt (I'm one of the four official pianist in the historical Jimmy's Bar, one of the most famous in Europe)

• Clinique "La Prairie" Clarens

• Dimora Storica "la Mirandola": an ancient medieval hospice that turned into a hotel in the middle of Dolomites: I was artistic director and attractive "medieval/fantasy" character, building everyday different outfits and entertainments playing lyra, flutes, irish concertina, japanese koto.

• 13 years of classical piano private lessons.

• Course of Steiner/Waldorf Pedagogy c/o "Intorno al melo" school in Italy.

• Course of emotive singing with the vocal coach of "Compagnia della rancia", Italy.

• Keyboardist since 1994  in several bands and projects playing rock, folk, author, hard rock, heavy metal,  pop, country, with plenty of live concerts in different formations (violin/cello, strings and flutes ensemble, classical guitars, ethnic instruments, saxophone trio, rock band)

• Composer of progressive rock music since 1999, my main project is  IL TEMPIO DELLE CLESSIDRE

• Arranger and composer in Oxford for the post rock/progressive project VLY

• Arranger and composer for cultural musical projects in Italy

• Home recording: recording, editing of keyboards and voice in my small home recording studio (Logic Pro X, Steinberg UR44, audio and midi recordings)

I can be versatile understanding and fitting in the ambient in which I have to play. I am also able to transform my look and outfit for different occasions (elegant classic/fantasy/retrò/theater/medieval etc) because one of my extra jobs is the make up artist and performer.

My best skill is to put all my sensibility and feel the mood of the place, finding ways to express the atmosphere and building an "esoteric" emotional contact with the ambient by using the message of music. Pure instinct, attention to the melody first of all. I can say that this was very appreciated in the events I worked in.

MY PHILOSOPHY

The intimacy of a music who comes to light only in an exclusive moment and place gives richness to that moment, people can share these emotions or simply enjoy a nice-listening music.

I believe into the healing power of music.

In these situations my style can be musically near to Ludovico Einaudi, Danny Elfman, Yann Tiersen, just to give some examples. I also sing with special effects and build harmonic patterns with the voice.
